Zarić Distillery Technology
The entire production of Zarić Distillery is based on a good and solid mixture of tradition, experience and modern technology. We have added the latest technology and knowledge to the old, original recipes of the former rakija “Povlenka”. New technology has been added to the old tried-and-true recipe.
In addition to complete reconstruction of the facility, the state of the art equipment for fermentation, distillation, ageing, stabilization and filtration is used in today’s production of rakija. Production ends with an automatic bottler, closing and labelling bottles.
The entire internal transport starting with healthy and ripe fruits to the final product – bottled rakija is carried out in an automated closed system of stainless steel. With excellent equipment and professional staff, we have created conditions for rakija production which meet high European standards.
In order to strengthen the winning combination of modern technology and tradition, oak barrels for ageing have been produced, with a total volume of 500,000 litres.
